To ensure that we understood the context and history around gender diversity as well as the factors that would be most important for success in this organisation, we conducted interviews with the Managing Director, the GMs of each of the business units, and with core Diversity & Culture executives.

A number of female senior leaders were interviewed and profiled in order to provide a benchmark and indicate which gender diversity factors were most useful for success and promotion in this business.  This stage of the program involved two days’ effort during a one-week period.
